soupytwist and I were on the phone for half an hour last night discussing how delightful it is that Tim has problems noticing that someone likes him. Once he's there he's fine, he has confidence in it, no problem. But he manages to be completely oblivious until it's made frickin' explicit, and is therefore able to ignore the neon sign that Tony is wearing.
