Can't win every time...
So, last week, the French dubbing of NCIS changed the "sleepy beauty" of Tony to McGee into "My sleeping beauty." and kept the flirty tone for " a lot of person who'd like to see you naked." I was surprised because they changed the dialogue in Love & War to take off "what's his name?" and changed it into "what's her name?" when McGee says he met someone.
They totally missed the "FU!...El" joke, but I expected it.
Today, they changed McGee's 'baby' to Tony in Mother's day into "my dear friend." And the "Smells like a French whorehouse in here." became "cheap perfume."
It could be the French part, but our programme must be a bit cleaner. A lot of gory scenes are cut, like most of the plans in the teasers of Bones.
