Missing Recap/Picspam 2/5

Remember when I wrote I didn't post it tomorrow? It still counts, I wrote it yesterday. It's still Friday somewhere, right?

Second part!

This one time, at band camp…

They get back where Keller fell and they have a little discussion on Rodney, leading Jennifer to confess she's a wimp. Teyla tries to encourage her by telling about a rite of passage of her people, as a way to prove her that you never know what you really can do until you're in. As a child, they're sent to the forest, with nothing, during ten days, and they must survive on their own. Every body thought they couldn't do it, but they all succeeded.
Keller counters with a story of her own, how she was in a camp with cabins, food and electricity, and didn't last three days.
Teyla is not happy, but she's well trained in McKayist control, so it'll be okay.

Well duh!

They find the weapons cache, empty. Teyla doesn't understand. That means her people took them, and they shouldn't have a problem beating the Bolo Kai with them. So why they're not here?
The night is almost there, and they need to hide, so Teyla decide to go to a hunting blind.

Problem, the blind is after a bridge, and Keller is scared of height, and she doesn't like trying with her bad ankle. Teyla uses her McKay training to force her to move, by going without her, and knowing Keller will prefer risk the rope bridge than stay alone. Be happy, Jennifer, imagine if it was Ronon with you. He'll push you on it. In the same time, if Ronon was there, they'll be off the planet since a while, now, because he doesn't go anywhere without his gun.

Of course, the moment she begin to be more confident, she slips, falls and barely hangs on the rope. But Teyla is not far; she catches her and helps her up. That won't help Keller's phobia, this trick.

I've had it with these motherfucking Bolo Kai on my motherfucking planet!

Keller suggests the Athosians could have escaped by the Gate, because they didn't find any bodies. Teyla explains that it's not a proof, because the Bolo Kai are cannibals. Keller digests the last bad news of the day when Teyla's spider sense tingles.
They're attacked and Teyla put Keller in security, and she pwned the three Bolo Kai.

Fact: Chuck Norris checks his closet for Teyla before sleeping.

Fact: Teyla is the reason Waldo is hiding.

Fact: Teyla doesn't style her hair. It stays in place out of sheer terror.

One of them tries to flee; Teyla catches him and kills him. Bates insulted her and her people, once. She hit him and had to be restrained. So someone who hurt them? I'm not surprised she makes them all pay.

Fact: There's no theory of evolution, just a list of animals Teyla allows to leave.
He's not on the list.

Keller, meanwhile, realises one of the Bolo Kai is still alive. She takes his sword before he's completely conscious and moves back. Teyla arrives at this point, takes the sword from Keller's hand, and cut his throat. Jennifer is disgusted and shocked, but understands when Teyla tells her they'll have more luck to survive if there are less of them.

At least, she didn't propose to help someone who want to eat her.

Then, they hear a moan. Following the sound, they find a man, wounded. Keller want to help him, Teyla want to leave him. Mainly because he's not Athosian. Yes, it's not far-stretch to believe she knows everyone. She was their leader for years, they're not many. Since she's gone to Atlantis, the only new faces are the babies. Keller refuses to let him die, and Teyla lets her heal him.

They still need to find the blind. Teyla asks Keller to stay with the man until she finds it.

"Sure, okay, no problem, I have my scalpel."
