"Commander Davis' wife received this in the mail yesterday. Postmarked from Hawaii."

"Photos of her husband on a beach, and he is not alone. Obviously not the missus."
"Who sent it?"

"The other husband--how kind of him."

"What do they say?"

"Misery loves company."

"Where'd you get that--your fourth wife?"






"There was a third embezzler."

"Looks that way, my friend."

"No, Tony, there was a third embezzler."

"Can we trace it?"
"I'm working on it, but I doubt it."


"Okay, pretend I'm Gibbs and try answering again."


"I am working on it, but I doubt it, boss."

"That's all I'm gonna get out of you, huh?"

"W-- I traced the account to the Caymans, but that's as far as I could get."

"I'm sorry."

"Okay, well, give me something to hold. I don't..."

"Whoever that third user is, he covered his tracks pretty well."
"Any chance it could be my doppel-friend?"
"Renny? No, that much I'm sure of, but given his research, you know, he may be able to provide a little insight."

"Trust me, McGee, if we ask for a life vest, he's throwing an anchor."

"I know!" I just have to hear the same thing from Palmer.

Someone would have liked the fried laptop joke from Aliyah.


Watching the caps and the episode again, Tony's look at Tim after he orders Gibbs to catch up and then to work with McGee, the 'it's all I'll get of you', and wait until Palmer talk to him to do what Tim already suggested… I wonder if Tony was expecting something of McGee during this episode.


*sobs* Holidays are over. Back to work and school. Except it's from home, so I can push back the 'return to school day' for little while. I already decide to do the programme in 3 years (now 2) instead of 2.
Still have to prepare for the week.

Oh, my God. That is why McGee makes dork jokes. Because Tony laughs at them, and he likes to make Tony laugh.

There is something to never forget: the first time Tony did the Fugitive speech, McGee gave him hints to do it better, and Tony listened. They have more fun joking together than they want to admit.

I laughed so hard at 'stroke my plumage' that TB wanted to know what I was up to. And "McGee, say words." And Tim's faces. I utterly, utterly adore his reaction shots to Tony and he always manages to pull something new out of the bag.

What do you think Tony was expecting? /curious

What do you think Tony was expecting?

Something close to season 4, maybe. He observes Tim's reaction when he take control, and is disappointed when Tim doesn't make miracles at his signal, or waiting hidden to listen his conversation with Ziva. Like if he really wanted to know McGee's opinion of him, and wanted it to be good, proud, or incredibly awed of his leadership talents. And that would mean Tim's opinion is as important to him as Gibbs's opinion.
