McGee/Tony Countdown 9!

The McGee/Tony Picspam Countdown

South by Southwest

Okay, whatever. It's late, the kid was happy sick (sick, but without any loss of energy), I think I have a cold, and the cat refuse to enter despite the weather learnt for the 258765847th time that water is wet. So I didn't sort them as much as usual. There are around 100 caps. I hope you'll find in you the ability to forgive me for the excess of Tony and Tim's love.

I'll answer the comments, promise!

"Sorry, boss. Got hung up in traffic."

Photobucket
"Tony, why'd you cover for me?"
Photobucket
"Did I?"
Photobucket

Photobucket
"Tell Mr. Hubbard that I anxiously await his call, and you have yourself a very nice day or night, or whatever time it is there."
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
"Okay, cheerio."
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
"I suppose that was for my benefit."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"Okay, I'll bite."
Photobucket
"Are you in the will?"
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
"McProbie,"
Photobucket
"We can only assume, right?"
Photobucket
"That was his secretary."
Photobucket
"Mr. Hubbard, my... great-uncle's solicitor wasn't available, but..."
Photobucket
"She did confirm that...he represents Uncle Clive's estate."
Photobucket
"Clive DiNozzo."
Photobucket
"Clive Paddington."
Photobucket
"It's my mother's side."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"We talking big money?"
Photobucket
"Huge money! I mean, Jed Clampett money. I'm talking Texas gold."
Photobucket
"It's actually North Sea oil money."
"I take it you were close to the old gent."
Photobucket
"I spent my 17th summer in Blighty. Uncle Clive was my mentor. Kind of like Al Pacino
and Chris O'Donnell (Was he already hired for NCIS:LA by then? :D ) in Scent of a Woman.
Photobucket
"Guessing the opposite sex was involved."
Photobucket
"He could sniff out a gorgeous woman and close the deal faster than anyone I ever met."
Photobucket
"I'm more concerned about closing that case."
Photobucket
"I'm working on it, boss."
Photobucket
"Right..."
Photobucket
Photobucket

Photobucket
"My life is about to change."
Photobucket
"Oh! Yeah."
Photobucket
"Oh. Yeah."
Photobucket
"Okay, as soon as I can. Sorry."
Photobucket
"Blockbuster. Rosemary's Baby, it's overdue."
Photobucket

"Check it out."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"Boss, it's, it's pretty late."
Photobucket
"This could take hours, and then it's a long drive back to Washington."
Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
"What are you doing in there?"
Photobucket
"Our jobs. I'm looking for contraband. I found this."
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
"You are looking good. What have we here?"
Photobucket
"We? Where were you, when I'm down there banging my head, huh? Skinning my knees?"
Photobucket
"I was up on the flight deck, trying to get a cell signal. I've been playing phone tag with Uncle Clive's solicitor."
Photobucket
"Screw your Uncle Clive. You haven't done anything all morning."
Photobucket
"What's with you, McCranky?"
Photobucket
"You need to chillax."
Photobucket
"You want me to chillax? You want me to chillax?!"
Photobucket
"I will chillax when you tell me that you have done something!"
Photobucket
Photobucket
"I have done something. I went over Special Agent Patterson's e-mails and daily activity log."
Photobucket

Photobucket
"Uncle Clive's primary residence is this manor house that's just outside of Henley on Thames."
Photobucket
"You have to come and visit sometime. In the summer, they have these...annual regattas. It's absolutely smashing."
"Tony, shut up."
Photobucket
"What I wouldn't give for a sock full of horse manure."
Photobucket
"La-di-da! Look at you, fancy-pants-movie-reference. Annie Hall, 1977. Really Woody Allen's best."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"Did I tell you about Clive's...museum in London? Really?"
" Do you have any idea how insufferable you are?"
Photobucket
"What are you doing? You're dripping paint all over the place."
Photobucket
"Look, you see what you're doing there? Look at what I'm doing, okay?"
Photobucket
"Watch. You do...even strokes. You see that? Nice, even strokes."
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
"We're pretend painting, McGoo."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"Keep that away from me."
Photobucket
Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket
"Piece of cake, Probie."
Photobucket
Photobucket

Photobucket
"Howdy, partner. Welcome back to the fort."
Photobucket
"I'm surprised you can sit down."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"You humor me, Tim."
Photobucket

Photobucket
"I don't really remember, but Crispian says that he found this document."
Photobucket
"Said "IOU", and that I owe him that $10,000 plus compounded interest over the last 20 years."
Photobucket
Photobucket
"Do you know how much that is, by the way?"
Photobucket
Photobucket
"I am sorry for your loss."

Oh, this episode makes me SO HAPPY even though they spend most of it apart. Just. Tony covers for Tim and then Tim is so indulgent and then so cranky and Tony's all 'but why would you be cranky with me? WHY?'!face (after he's done checking out McGee's ass) and then there's the almost paint fight and then more Tim being indulgent and unnecessary touching and Tony calling him 'Tim' omg and I swear their relationship is accidentally leaking into work. They'd better watch out or Gibbs will have to stop pretending he doesn't know. :DDDDDDDDDD

Um. That is one way of saying EEEEEEEE! *uses appropriate icon*

Tim's hand on Tony and Tony's looks at it is even better when you realise (well, it's the impression I have) that McGee is not really touchy-feely. He accepts hugs from Abby and Tony, even like them, but he hardly gave them. With Abby, I can remember one almost hug only he instigated, in the interrogation room when they caught Lee. With Tony, I can't find one touch instigated, except when fighting. Of course, I could be wrong. Memory and thoughts are a little slow right now.

My point being the touch is interesting because it's a little more than what he usually do, and if Tony is as observant as he said, he could have the same thoughts as me, and noted as significant.

And so one step up in the relationship. That explain why he just invited him to his uncle's manor. Or why Tim started to quote movies.

And how everybody doesn't know?!? Or maybe like Gibbs, they know, but pretend they don't.

Yes, you're right about that. I've been thinking about the non-touchy-feeliness of Tim over the past few days (and had this thing in my head where Tony was goading Tim and Tim was all up in his personal space and then Tony saying Tim obviously wanted to shove him up against a wall and punch his lights out so why didn't he? And then Tim stepping right back, well out of reach and Tony being all, huh? You can't do it can you? You can't touch me. What is with that? And Tim's all, you really want to know? Which obvs Tony does because he is the curious cat and Tim says if I start touching you I won't know how to stop and Tony is all OH.) And then the elevator opens...

I missed all but the last, oh, five minutes of this episode when it aired. :(

But! I'm getting my kicks out of this picspam.

Tony's hand on Tim's shoulder is driving me crazy. Especially his thumb and how close it is to just sweeping up and brushing skin.

I love that he squeezed it, I don't even know why.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, it's so so cute. Tim has learned much, yes he has. :D (I want to hug them, and squeeze them, and take them home with me so I can feed them pie.)

He's quoting movies!! He's taking Tony's habits, it's so married couple.

[identity profile] qzee.livejournal.com 2009-09-17 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
they're being really obvious here and Gibbs is doing what he can to help them cover. I mean Gibbs has obviously KNOWN about them since shortly after the coma incident, when he was calling Tony "McGee" all the time. A not-so-subtle way of letting Dinozzo know that "hey, I know you and Tim are as good as married so stop trying to put one over on me because you KNOW you so can't."
