Well, it's Tuesday, so it doesn’t really count as late, right?

Wow, young Leon. Impressing effect.

...I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to move a hurt person.
Even the way he walks is different. Really good work.

So, Tim got a shirt like that in blue and green, unless my memory is failing me. Does he have one in red? I'm sure it'll be nice on him.
(Idea for next Halloween, Tim as Ianto, Tony as Harkness, Ziva as Gwen, with her leather pant! After all, Tim watch Doctor Who, so he'll know Jack and Torchwood. )

When they said they'll do an origin story, I didn't think of Vance.

Wait, is grey or blue? Blue-grey? Wait, no, it's the light which change the color. And it's the same shirt, it wasn't green. It's a magical shirt. A mood shirt.
"Everybody, remember, there is water in the conference room. I've rewired the plasma so it has satellite TV. Thank you."
"It's like herding cats, huh, Agent McGee?"
"I don't like it at all, Agent Sharp. I've got a dozen other retired agents. I have Branch, I've got Morrow, I've got Nedrow. I have more directors than the front row of the Oscars. So any help that you can give me, please."
"You're missing one."

Tony's not here to do the reference, so McGee replaced him :D
"Karif Yasin?"
"Well, last of the Mohicans is en route..."
*snort* Poor scared Timmy :)
"Agent McCallister... Now, remember, you're supposed to ask me before using the men's room."
"Shut up! Permission to smack your boy with my cane, Gibbs."
"Denied."

"Stop and smell the tulips. Visit the Heineken Brewery. Go see Anne Frank's house. Not in that order."

Little hands? Oh Tony, I don't even know where to start.
"Well, I'm sure McGee has his hands full. He has little tiny hands..."

Liat? What are you doing? Please, don't be with the bad guys, that's too obvious. Also, you're cute and I wish to see you again not deadified. Ahah! Ziva is not fooled!

"I was sorry to hear about your mother. Though she hated me, I know that you cared for her deeply."
"I appreciate your condolences. And you have mine... regarding your husband."
"He detested you."
"And I him. But I'm not the kind of man to spit on another's grave."
"Oh, I think I know exactly the kind of man you are."
"Yeah, one moment of weakness does not define one's character."

"Ah. Could have hung a sock on the door."
"There's no knob."

Whoah, young Eli.

"So, what wakes an Israeli up in the morning?"
"My wife."

Nice transition with Vance, Gibbs and the coffee.

McGyver! They're too cute.
"Okay, Abby, I'm gonna need... Oh."
"A shopping list?"
"Thanks."

"G-100 grade ball bearings, 12 penny nails, plastic casing, copper wire, electrical tape."
"And a little bit of ingenuity, you, too, could build one of these. A claymore mine. Mc... Gyver?"
"McGyver?"
"Been keeping that one in my back pocket for a while."

"Went off the deep end after his wife ditched him for somebody else."
...Ziva' mom is gone? (Liat is Ziva's half-sister?)

You know, Liat has a point, there, with staying quiet. And from her point of view, the lack of trust makes sense.

They look like kids chastised by their dad. Well…

Bwahahaha! He told it to Tony! Who is all "Pfft, that's so obvious, that's so... damnit, why I didn't think about it first!"
And Tim who wants to know if Tony think about him and future terms of endearment all the time. And Tony is "Baby, I don't need to prepare when you're all the inspiration I need."
No, I'm pretty sure it's what he said.
"McGyver. It's so obvious. I mean, why didn't I come up with that?"

"You got any you've been holding in reserve, waiting for the perfect opportunity?"
"That's not how my mind works. I mean, it's like scat in there."
"Ah, yes-- animal dung. I always figured."

"Not animal dung. It's like jive, you know? It's like bebop. It's unpredictable. I'll take the guitar. You take lead vocals. Like McGlee, McFlea. McG-flat. McJagger."
Gee, the guitar/lead vocal remind me a certain fic… :D If a future plot of Jesse involve Tim falling in a river, we'll know for sure.

"What's the news, Hebrews?"
Gibbs-up the remote! Look Tony's reaction! "Geez, Ziva, how could you do that!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hey! You don't have to "Gibbs up" the clicker there."

And everyone want to spy on the bosses.

Tony is totally not surprised. Probably expected it. I like that Tim said it to Tony.
"I can hack the feed."
"Yes, you can."

"Good job." He whispered, barely remembering to not kiss him.
Seriously, taking off the slash goggles, it had strong Gibbs/Abby vibes, when he reward her with a kiss on the cheek.

McCallister or the Russian. One of them is the 'him' Eli found in S&TF. Maybe the Russian.
"Are you the type who's grumpy when you get woken up?"
Heee. How casually he disarmed him, and with a joke. Eli must have been a hilarious guy before he was changed by his job.

...so if Eli got his kids back (and Ari later), I guess Mum is no more.
"Because.... Mossad told me I could kill them. The Russian...turned an Israeli sailor, bled him dry for information, then sent a hit team to dispose of my fellow countryman. My wife... can no longer live with what I do. She took my family, my children, to ensure that they do not grow up to be like their father. This I cannot fight. I need a target. I need a target, I told him. Before there is nothing left of me."
"He just confessed to knowing how to build the murder weapon. I mean, come on. How many know how to build a homemade claymore mine?"
"In this room?"
"Okay, fine."

"For those lacking actual business to perform, might I suggest a visit to the hospital? I'm sure blood donors will be welcome."

"For policeman" ...Nawww. Her husband was the cop Ducky pushed from the cliff in France, wasn't he?
"Special Agent Sharp. She was a recruiting specialist?"
"Agent training, as well. And for a time, she was a fine field agent in her own right."
"I'm sure she was fine."
"She still is."
"But she chose Vance. She prepared him for the mission. She knew everything. Am I nuts, or...?"
"Yes, you are. Although, having had the opportunity to get to know Director Vance, he does seem an odd choice for her. She had a preference for policemen."
Guess we're going to see Sharp again, with more news about her.

"You wrote the book."
"I'm saving my royalties to buy a pack of gum."

Jenny! Paris flashback! Ooh, they finished Vance's job! There is a bigger link with Sharp, there, if I'm right about her husband being the cop Ducky pushed before stealing a boat for Jenny and Gibbs.

"What in his background made him qualified?"
"Let's just say that there were inconsistencies in his background that he obviously preferred we not explore."
Like the exchange of identity with his friend boxer.

Ooh! The money Vance gave him in Internal Affairs!! I love when they do stuff like that.
"Hey. That's my Danish. What is your problem, man?"
"It's my bad. I'll get you back for that."
"Yeah, you will."

And a mention of Kate?! Continuity heaven.

Awww.

(Possible new french dub fun, is this phrase an innuendo: "Would you just take your foot to the locker room, please?")

In France, 'prendre son pied' (take his/her foot) is an expression meaning taking a lot of pleasure in something, orgasming, sex. And with the rest of the def, when I say a lot of pleasure, I mean a lot.
It's probably a 'mind in the gutter' thing, it's very possible the translator didn't think of the other sense when s/he worked on it. After all, it's a literal translation. But it's not where people's mind usually go when they hear that, definitively a 'wait, let me rephrase that' moment.
