I was looking for Charmed, and then Stargate Atlantis, and I don't know how, I end on Grissom One Liner, don't miss the little cartoon.
What it say for Too Dumb To Live : The character who drives the plot by doing things that no sane human being would do. Walking down the alley alone to tell her friend about the serial killer. Telling her best friend not to tell anybody, but she has a crush on somebody. Walking through the streets of Sunnydale after dark. Being Lana Lang. Not only possessing Genre Blindness, but putting Zaphod Beeblebrox's Peril-Sensitive Sunglasses on over it.
And Idiot Plot, when the characters are suddenly stupidlike not immediately changing important code when the two chiefs of your base are possessed:
"One episode of The X Files has Mulder and Scully under threat by bugs which attack and cocoon their victims under cover of darkness. A tense scene has them worrying what will happen if their single light bulb goes out. At the same time, they seem to be completely unaware of the fact thatthey're in a forest filled with trees that they can cut down and burn to create light."
...I never thought of that.
Many examples from Doctor Who in the entries, too. Spoilers for almost everything, including HP7, but it's hidden.
