Minerva McGonagall
Apr. 25th, 2004 10:59 pmEt voilà!
First "prediction", I'll make Trelawney jealous ;)
They part in three...parts, Past, Present and Future.
I'll begin with a synthesis of what the cards said, and then, what I think it's mean.
Past
The cards said : Expectation in the youth which been realized later. Talents appreciated, every one had a good opinion of her.
What I think : The young Minerva was ambitious, very intelligent and wanted to make a very good impression on people, or be respected for her brain. She succeeded,no many complaint about her. ( Not unlike Hermione in fact)
The cards said : She gained a first rank position/ a honorary distinction with the protection/help of a powerful personage.
What I think : No mystery here, it's probably her position of Head of Gryffindor, Dumbledore is the powerful personage.
Present
The cards said : Absence/departure caused by a evil and/or jealous person who is a false friend. Return in force from a foreign country.
What I think : Here, I'm not sure. I think it refer to Umbridge, and her false smiles.Between her decrees and the attacks during the Astronomy Owls, she managed to get her away. It's the "foreign country" which bother me. Could we say that Hogwart is in another 'country' than St Mungo ?
Future
The cards said : Calm life after a gain from something she prepared/worked. Pleasures tied with Art.
What I think : She's with those who'll live after the 7th book. Some ideas that are important for her will succeed. The first thing I see, it's about Harry and his Auror's carrier. But the link with the Art make me think to Dean Thomas. He's very talented with drawing, and he could have a good job with the good help. The Art card is appeared twice, she could be an artist. Or it's mean she'll help Dean.
There, it's done. I know, don't need to be a Seer to guess the Past and Present, and the Future is not very clear. But I swear that the cards came out like that.
The nextvictim lucky will be...Hermione Granger!
