Nanowrimo! I didn't sign up. I really, really want to. But I'm late in my schedule, and I'm not sure I'll manage to find time to write in the same time I study. I told myself I won't think of doing it if I can't find an idea and I got one. Only got something to write the beginning, I have no idea of how to expand it in an actual plot, one to last 50 000 words. But I want to know how the story end.

So, here's the deal with myself. If I do every item on the list, I can sign up. If not, I'll only watch in the sidelines.

First:

Was late, as usual, and had to type 16k in few hours. I'm apparently very fast under pressure, but I'm not doing it again. We'll ignore that I said the same thing last year, after the same problem.

Then, the things I wanted to say, but had to push back because of this RL thing:

* 14 November: one day when there was more Tony/McGee fics than Tony/Gibbs in the newsletter:

* My brother went to see New Moon because his girlfriend (18 year old) dragged him. They didn't know what to expect, but from the reactions from those leaving the cinema, Kevin expected some action at the very end. He was disappointed. He said you could see all the girls in one side in fangirly mode, and the boys on the other, dead bored.

She didn't read the books, only based her knowledge from the movies and wanted to wait to see the others, so I explained some parts of the book they missed in the movie, and try to talk about the other without spoilering, to explain why I wasn't interested.

It's a game I loved playing with my friend in high school, giving enough to tempt, but nothing to spoil.

She wanted to know the rest. I'll never forget how her eyes got round when I got to the Jacob/Nessie thing.

* Dubbing can be a funny thing. There was Broken Bird on M6 one or two weeks ago. They dubbed Jordan with the voice of Kate. Apparently, no one wonder why an old regular came back. Or they thought we wouldn't recognise her, but they follow the new episode with two old from the season 2.

* Pauley Perrette answered some questions as Abby. I like this one, and not for the 'no romance at work'. Just for what I'll consider as Abby/McGee new old canon. Someone used the elevator.

In another, she spoke of the cupcake theft, without giving the name of the culprit. Until the end, "I'll come back faster you can say 'McGee is a cupcake thief!'.", the last part said very fast.

I don't think she can be cuter.

Also, someone talked about signing for Nanowrimo, reminding me it was this time of the year again. I swear, I only wanted to see the forum, see who was back and if there was new stuff, but, I signed up. I wanted to wait until the 15th to take the decision, but I couldn't resist.

Now, do I also do mininanowrimo? I'll have more than a story to write, and that'll force me do to something everyday.

Finally! I did nothing else that write this week. Plus the story was really over, I had to add a long flashback. But Naperville is still winning.

Now, it's time to do the homework, plus it's back to the babysitting (Monday 13h to whenever Mika come home, Wednesday 7h to whenever Gaëlle wake up, and same for Tuesday. Still not sure for Friday.) and the Christmas shopping.

Current Mood: accomplished

Still didn't see NCIS, I'm keeping it for when I'll reach the 40k. Between my sister and Mika, both ill this week, I didn't have to keep the kid, so I had a loooooot of free time, and made almost 30k in five days. Why do I always wait for the last days, moreover when I'm able to do so much in only a day? I could have finished nano days ago!

Plus, the France forum is in war with Naperville, Illinois. They're winning. We almost caught up two days ago, but they're still almost 400 words ahead.

The problem is that the story isn't long enough for the 50k, I'll have to add more scenes. And an aged man who was supposed to be turned by the bad guys during the story blocked everything, until I change him into a centuries old woman, young in apparence, who always worked for them and killed the original person and took her place inside the good guy's business. I could always write this scene, and win some words.

I also fell into the Merlin's bandwagon. And now, I'm going back to Nano, I have to hit the 40 before midnight.

Okay, now I should have free time.

Between school and nanny duty, I didn't touch my Nano since two weeks ago. I'm still at 9K. But, all the notes about this lesson are made, the DM (devoir maison, the tests you do at home) will wait Wednesday, I only have to watch Sam the afternoon the same day, nothing else to do before beside the usual, I will have two days alone at home just for me, so I just need to do one or two fandom things before using the rest of the time on Cristal.

I'm, what, only 30K behind? Plus, the hiatus are coming.

This year, I'm doing an old story which was in my head for years, I kept reusing some characters, or plot points in other stories, but they were made for this one. Now, if the site would like to work.

NCIS

The picspam doesn't stop growing. I just wanted the slashy moments, like the exchange of the shirts, but I cap...capped? Took caps of more from other moments, and well, it'll be later, and bigger, and not just Tony/Tim. But they'll be more present.

I just finished it! My first book! Now, I just have to re-read and rewrite what's wrong, but now that I know how it ends, it should be easier, right?

It's a mess, and it'll need many, many rewriting, but it's done.

Oh, and if by any chance someone is waiting for the recap/picspam of The Seer, it wont happen before a moment, and the next episode will also probably late, because I'm very, very late in Nanowrimo (27 000 words instead of, what it should be by now, 40 000?) , so I'll do them when it'll be over. Who knows, I managed to do 5000 mots two days in succession, maybe I can keep the rythme.

Last day before Nano and I have almost nothing. Not a problem.

I'm still on Travelers, making a recap with too much screencaps, I'll split that in four posts. That will make a exercice for something else, and maybe I'll learn the next time to sacrifice some caps. But Rodney is always moving his hands, and John kept making these faces, and there is Ronon in the background...

Must do something for nano. Find some names. I'm on the French forums, tonight I'll be in the chat, and also in the French comm,

wrimo_cafe.

Because I probably thought I'll be bored in November, I'll also do

mini_nanowrimo. 100 words by day, because I know I'll only write every two, three day for Nano. I'll try to do a drabble/ficlet for SGA episodes, I wrote the titles on some piece of papers, and every day, I'll pick one and write something about it. In English, because it can't hurt me to work on it.

But first, there is a vacuum cleaner waiting for me.

Bad news, I lost the contest. Not really a surprise, I kinda expected it.

Sorta good news, I'm officially on the list of the donors of organs. It's not like if I'm gonna use them once I'm dead, after all.

Two, the three last years, when I saw people doing NaNoWriMo, I thought I should try it too. This year, I was thinking it again, but saying no, I have no idea, maybe a genre and just a name, I can't go somewhere with just that, and suddenly the idea was in my head, and I had a plot and well, I'm in. Same username.
