Ramblings at 3 am
Aug. 30th, 2006 02:36 amI'm back since this morning *looks hour* yesterday morning at 4h30. The first small week was boring, and my brother and my cousin, who spent the first month of his holidays in Givet (the fool, he didn't know what's little town really mean. No nightclubs here.), spent the days looking around Grenoble, went to the cinema, see POTC2. At least, we saw Céline (a cousin), Gérard and their little girl, Zia, really adorable.
Then the two weeks in Pau, much better. Many family reunions, which are always fun, the swimming pool at one of the family when it was hot, and of course, the 100 year old birthday. I will post photos later. About all the holidays. Also had the usual day at another family, at Henday, at the beach. One hour of sun, and a really big, really dark, really low cloud and a tempest. You could see the sand flying for really far away, over the houses.
And finally the last days again in Grenoble, where we see a cousin we didn't see since a while, Emeline, and the other cousin and her family, Amandine, Jérôme and Zélie, also adorable, and soon with a little sister. This time, we spent the days with shopping, mainly the books for me, all which were recommended by kinda everyone on the net, the 5 first books of the Discworld, another one from the same author, one by Neil Gaiman, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and the french version of Good Omens (already read the english version, also from flist fangirling about it, and I loved re-read it), like that, I could lend it to my sister. And there is a project of a film based on it, apparently.
Now, I'm still on a no-spoilery-flist reading, until I have all the stargate episodes I missed (4 to 7, sg1 and sga).
The only problem with the family dinners is that they happened the Saturday and were really long, meaning I missed 4 episodes of the S2 of Lost. I'll look later what happened between the episode( spoilers just in case )
It was the 16 years of my brothertoday yesterday, I made a chocolate pie.
And I should go sleeping. I just want to post before a photo of me that my brother took at Céline's. He didn't realise how it looks at this moment but the effect is fun, very orange.

Jan. 8th, 2006 12:58 amWant to make a screencaps post with McShep moments plus other with Rising (and I plan to make all the episodes), but computer is too slow since days now, and we can't find why.
Anyway, I know why Dr Lee was familiar since the moment I saw him in SG-1, it's a friend of Mulder. I saw him in the episode of today, the fun one with Tea Leoni who play Scully in a film based on the x-files.
Also saw the two first episodes of Kingdom Hospital, I like. Dr Hook is rather cute. Sadly, my brother watched too, evidently, the moment with the animal thing who kill the man, so we can expect screaming tonigh.
McShep goodness the next week, promise!
