And now, I have this scene in my head, a Severus who comes from an alternate reality where Voldy is the boss, won the first war, reign in Hogwart, James died young killed by Remus in the Prank, Harry never existed, Neville's parent dead before he's born, Molly was killed in DE attack when she was pregnant with Ron, Fred killed in the same attack and the professors (McGo, Sprout, Hagrid,etc...) pro-DD in this reality horribly killed and disfigured, and let rotting in the trophy room.
Safe Flitwick, who was tortured and killed by the AU!Severus and now, his corpse is (with magic's help to keep him to rot) this kind of stool for foot near a chair.
Fawkes is in Voldy's office, stuffed. Trelawney is Bella's toy.
The DEs used the special book which wrote the names of the wizards and witches when they born to found the muggleborn and kill them, so no Hermione. No Granger too, because they don't want to risk another muggleborn, and anyway, they are muggles.
The students are left alone, there are no real classes, and basically, the DEs make what they want with them.
This Severus never left the DE, and is happy where he is.
And he's blond, with long hair, and not greasy, safe when he finished a potion. False blond, because he idolizes Lucius, and where our Snape imitates Lucius' way of talk and style only, this Snape push the obsession to be like Lucius. And Lucius loves that.
Remus can be nice like our Remus, but he doesn't care of what people think about him, and forgot the 'keep friends at all cost'. He forgave Sirius many years after the Prank, and still doesn't trust him. When a lady shouted that she didn't want him near her because he could eat her, he answered 'don't worry, I prefer them before the best-before date'.
The other Snape and other Remus appear in our reality, AU!Snape is very soon seen like evil and Harry managed to stop him when AU!Snape attack him. Harry swear he didn't imagine cursing the real Snape, and really goes hard on the evil Snape to protect himself. No, really. He smiles because he caught a strong DE by himself, really.
Everyone help AU!Remus to find a way to go back in his reality, and our Snape find that he likes this version of Lupin, and spent many hours with him.
Our Lupin is upset by that (but not jealous, absolutely not jealous), because he tried to be extra nice to Snape to only receive a cold "Lupin" when Snape talks to him, whereas the other Lupin is called Remus, and even make Snape smile and almost laugh.

Good, now the scene which depressed me. Real!Snape talk to his double, who found he's with the good guy and didn't touch Dark Arts since 15 years, 6 months and 2 days.
And that make the AU!Snape laugh, because our Snape said he make the good choices, and he replies:
"I'm happy, you're always angry against the world, I make a job I love, you make a job you hate, I'm everyday with people I like and children who like learn what I taught, you're live with dunderhead and people you dislike, that you like it or not, I live with people who love me, you wouldn't be even missed, my future is assured, you have a strong chance to die soon, and no one will care. And you did the good choice?!"
And our Snape found that very logic. And true. McGo doesn't agree and will give him a hug when the plot and the important scene are done and he come back wounded, but it's still true. And depressing.
AU!Remus has another good method to cheer him up, but Real!Remus is fed up with him, begin to be furious. Snape, who liked the idea of AU!Remus ask to the other to go away, he doesn't want, make a un-Remus scene, order to his double to leave and almost fight with Snape.
Who is happy, in a Snape-way, because it's exactly how he want Remus, able to be angry like everyone.
The AU!Remus leaves them.
Also, he found that the other Molly and cie died in an attack which happened also in his world, only he warned DD, who saved everyone, and he never knew he saved the Weasley.
Ron doesn't know what to think about the all 'I'm living thanks to Snape'.
